A wife, mom of 1 incredible son, licensed social-worker-turned-Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, IBCLC. Nearing the end of my 13 month breastfeeding experience, I decided I wanted to be the support for moms and chestfeeding families that I did not have. My breastfeeding journey was not perfect, my milk supply was not amazing, and I had dietary restrictions after learning of my son’s dairy allergy at 4 months old. My goal is to make moms and chestfeeding families feel comfortable talking about the positive and negative aspects of their breastfeeding experiences. I want to comfort moms while they are learning to feed their babies. I want families to know, breastfeeding is not “all or nothing” and being comfortable and confident in their breastfeeding journey will change their daily outlook.
The mission of Milking with Rho is to provide a safe and comfortable space for breast and chest feeding families to openly discuss their breastfeeding experiences, provide lactation education, set realistic goals, and empower individuals to be comfortable in the direction their breastfeeding journey takes them.
